Our hour begins, with 10 or 20 mins school work perhaps.  This helps with confidence or regulation or just settling down.  Many find getting a bit better at writing or timestables.  We play learn.  Some days we do no work at all!  Dependent on the day.  But we always...play...create...chat...and laugh.  Beach School is a safe haven for fun and trying things you've never tried before.  Sometimes there is risk...and sometimes there is fear...and sometimes there is just plain giggles...
